Bespoke Business Projects
Custom print and design for your business
Not every business project fits neatly into an online product listing.
Wild Islay Studio works with businesses, organisations, artists and events requiring custom-designed print, signs, promotional materials and practical branded items.
Bespoke business work can include
- Leaflets and promotional materials
- Posters and event displays
- Menus and price lists
- Event tickets
- Gift vouchers
- Scratch cards
- Labels, tags and product inserts
- Certificates
- Exhibition information cards
- Window graphics
- Vehicle decals
- Custom signs
- Banners
- Large-format printing
- Coordinated print across several formats
Starting a business project
Please provide:
- A clear description of everything required
- Sizes and quantities
- Required completion date
- Intended use
- Existing branding or artwork
- Brand colours and fonts
- Any preferred materials
- Your available budget, if applicable
Complex requests cannot always be priced accurately from a short message. I may need to assess the artwork, materials and production requirements first.
Supplying artwork
Please supply original, high-quality files wherever possible.
Preferred formats include:
- Vector PDF
- SVG
- EPS
- High-resolution PNG with transparency
- High-resolution JPEG for photographs
Screenshots, photographs of printed items, images copied from websites and files saved from social media may not be suitable for professional reproduction.
If artwork requires rebuilding, correction, tracing or extensive preparation, additional design costs may apply.
Consultation and design fee
Larger bespoke business projects may require a £30 consultation and design fee before detailed assessment or creative work begins.
The fee covers time spent on work such as:
- Reviewing files
- Assessing production options
- Providing professional advice
- Researching suitable materials
- Preparing concepts
- Creating initial mock-ups
- Establishing whether the project is viable
If you proceed, the consultation fee is deducted from the final invoice.
Quotations
A quotation is based on the agreed specification at the time it is issued.
Changes to the size, quantity, materials, artwork, finish or timescale may require a revised quotation.
A quotation does not reserve production time until the required payment or deposit has been received.
Timescales
Please provide realistic notice.
Urgent requests may not be possible, particularly when the project requires:
- Original design work
- Specialist materials
- Large quantities
- Artwork correction
- Test production
- Installation
- Several different printed components
Professional standards
I will only accept work that I believe I can produce to a standard suitable for Wild Islay Studio.
A project may be declined if the artwork, timescale, requested process or available materials prevent a satisfactory result.
